play Tempohousing video There are also two standard facilities available from Tempohousing, a cafe-restaurant and a small supermarket. The cafe-restaurant is made from eight containers stacked in two layers. By cutting half of the floor out of two of the top containers and placing columns instead of the inner walls, one large space is created with a void. The downstairs bar has direct connection to the kitchen. The front of the cafe is a glass facade with large doors opening to a possible terrace. The gross floor space is approximately 210 m.

The supermarket has a gross floor space of 240 m. This area is almost column free. The old corner posts of the containers will have to remain to maintain stability. The space is divided in a front area, where the costumers do their shopping and a back area, where storage and an office are situated.

To maintain a good climate inside the above mentioned facilities, a top cooling system is provided standard. When necessary, for example due to the outdoor climatic situation, a full air condition system can also be provided. Mechanical ventilation comes standard.
