All Tempohousing products facilitate a high standard of use. This is possible due to building materials we use. These result in high performance units.

  • Gross floor space of one unit: 30 m2 (332.9 ft2)

Fire safety

  • All walls and ceilings at least 30' fire resistant (based on NEN-norms).
  • The units are equipped with smoke detectors.

Building physics

  • Heat loss windows (U-value) : 1,2 W/m2K (0.2 BTU/(hr*ft2*°F))
  • Heat loss walls (R-value): 1,3 m2K/W (7.4 (hr*ft2*°F)/BTU)
  • Ventilation with both natural and forced ventilation (standard: 126 m3 (4450 ft3) per hour)
  • Increased noise reduction as a result of a floating floor system.
  • Heating with dual heating elements of 2000 watts with thermo regulator, placed at either ends of the unit.
  • Air conditioning is available at request.

Electrical system

All wall sockets, lights and electrical systems are connected to a central fuse box, divided in logical groups. All connections come with ground wiring, connected to central grounding switch. Hot water is provided for by a 50 liter (13.2 gallon) hot water boiler.

Other

  • Data / telephone / television outlets at customer request.
  • Doors and windows provided with double glazing and fall-through safety. Locks: SKG** (heavy duty). Hinges come with anti-theft provision.
  • Balcony and gallery elements are optional; when stacking the units to buildings, the galleries and separate staircases provide access to the units.
  • If electrical heating is not preferred, connections to a central heating system with central incoming feeds are available too.
